Burlesque is a great American folk art, the birthplace of
striptease!
10 years ago, Vivienne created the Denver based troupe Burlesque
As It Was and has performed locally and across the country
with notable burlesque stars like Dita Von Teese, Catherine
Delish, Kitten Deville, Kitten on the Keys, the World Famous
Pontani Sisters and many, many more. She’s also the author
of Burlesque
and the New Bump-n-Grind, commonly know as the
definitive guide to the New Burlesque.
Now Vivienne wants to share her knowledge of the grand history
and tradition of burlesque with you!
Her 4 week program will teach you the basics of burlesque
and will include an optional recital at the end for those
brave souls ready to hit the stage!
Some classes are available as a stand alone, drop in class,
but the full 4 week cycle is required for entry into the public
recital at Lannie’s Clocktower Cabaret.
